Not sure what to say?

Are we really coming up on 9 years? Though you are dearly missed, time truly does heal the wounds of the heart.
I do still think of you often, but not so much in the sad grieving way! I think of you in the ‘man do I wish he was still around to share his wisdom’ way. In the way a friend thinks of a friend ‘out of the blue” and wishes they could just call them. I think of you at times when I want to share my new and recent blessings. I think of you because of the great impact you have...

7 years passed so quickly. I still miss and think of David often. I was so blessed to have Thanksgiving dinner with the family just before he passed. I believe this may be the last photo of David before he left to go and see his Lord and Savior. I felt fortunate to be there with him.

I am sorry David, that I just found out you are now with our Lord. Though I primarily knew you through the blogging community, you have/had my unmost respect for your wry sense of humor and your loving way of living. I look forward to talking with you again, in an eternally relaxing manner.

Blessings forever,
William (Bill) Meisheid

Wonderful, kind man. He put up a long fight. He will be missed. The world needs more like him. My condolences to his family and friends.

"How precious in the sight of The Lord is the death of his saints." I remember David from his days as youth pastor at Pinewood PCA. He had a sense of humor and was very kind and gentle. After hearing him preach, I knew he was destined to lead his own congregation. He was so gifted and so knowledgeable. He possessed a leader's confidence in the pulpit. He will be greatly missed.

A warm, gentle, friendly man with a great sense of humor and a rock solid theology! You've blessed us in many ways, David. May God's peace and strength sustain the Wayne family. You are all in our prayers.

Warmest regards,
The Matousek Family

We met David only once. He had a kind, gentle soul and a sense of humor. He made a stranger feel welcomed! For a Christian, "absent from the body is present with the Lord". A promise to hold onto. We send our heartfelt sympathy to you and the family. (Tiffany's grandparents )

Out of pain and with the Father! Death is sad, but Dave knew this part of his existence was temporary. A wonderful pastor, husband, father and friend. I will truly miss you my buddy, look forward to seeing you when I get there! Myrtle, Lynette, DJ, Michael and 'Becca', Donna and I will try to be there for whatever you may need. God Bless all of you. "Neighba-Dave" and Donna
