Read MoreI first met Dave when he was a volunteer in the office next door to mine at the Missouri Botanical Garden. I regularly met him at various musical events around St. Louis, particularly at Focal Point in Maplewood. Dave was very jovial. I have happy memories of him.

Dave was a very kind person. I did do some typing of papers for him. He was author and co-author. We were aware of his health problems, but he seemed to have managed it all quite successfully. I was sad to hear that he had died. I'm sure that he will be missed. I will include him in my prayers. Sincerely, Val
