Sorry to hear of your lose, Dave was certainly doing what he enjoyed. I lost my late husband John Rogucki to cancer in 1997. The running community was very supportive as imagine they have been for you as well.

Martha,
Our heart goes out to you and your family in this sad time. Your husband/father was our son Nick's scout leader and brought many fun happy times into Nick's short life. He was a wonderful role model for all of the boys that he lead in scouts and in athletics and will be sorely missed.

I came to know David thru my late wife, Mary Rose Gonzales-Rhoden. It was said that, David had a big heart that is so true. David and Martha would bring Mary’s Parents to South Bend, IN. from Tecumseh, MI, on Sundays, while Mary was ill. May God watch over Martha and the boy’s during this difficult time. I have to believe that David is in such good company right now. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
