Not sure what to say?

Hello Jacquie, I worked with Dave from 1981-84 at Salty's on the Willamette. He was our Asst Mgr while I waitered during my University studies at PSU. We work colleagues, Buddies and shared the Oregon Ducks and the Blazers. He was a Good Guy and a fine man with an excellent sense of humour. I teach English at University of Sydney in Australia. But I grew up in Hazel Dell (1966-75) and so happened to read about his sad sudden death. I am sorry for your loss and Hope you and your Children are...

Hello my name is Walter Sprinkle, my I convey my deepest sympathy to the Wells Family. I worked with Dave back in the early 1980's at Salty's a on the Willamette River and the Rodeo bar and Grill in Portland. He was a great guy and an enthusiastic Dan Foute's Duck Fan. I left the area in 1985 but often thought about Dave's great laugh and his practice golf swings on the restaurant floor as we waited for the summertime rush. God Bless you Dave and Keep swinging.... Walter from Sydney Australia

Our message to Dave and the Haven Spa group was from Randy and Dina LaRoy.

Hello,
My husband Randy and I are customers of Haven Spa. I always enjoyed visiting with Dave whenever I stopped by to have our water checked. I am a Duck, and though we didn't' know each other in college, we were on campus during the same years. At Haven Spa, we laughed and shared great stories about the Ducks teams, past and present. I will greatly miss his friendly, personable, sincere style, as well as how happily he talked about his great love for his family. A wonderful guy. ...

i was so sorry to learn of Daves death in the Oregonina. We were friends 40+ year ago when we both worked at Black Butte Ranch and i remember him as a wonderful person and friend. Sadly, as often happens, we went on about our lives and lost track of each other. I am so happy to know he had a wonderful family and happy life. Please know my thoughts are with all of you. Dave will be missed. Warmly, Linda Humphrey Portland

Dan Folwick here. Dave and I knew each other since Jr. High. We went to high school together and spent quality time over the years. A quick wit and a hearty laugh, Dave was a joy to be around. I will think of him often and smile. I'm blessed to have had him in my life. Peace, brother!

Hi Wells family. My name is Kevin Ridings. I went to high school with Dave and participated in a number of singing groups with Dave and we were good friends through out high school. The summer after graduation Dave and I travelled through Europe on a large choir tour called Amercia's Youth in Concert. We had a great time and had a number of memorable experiences. I went to U of O at the same time but lost track of him as time went on. I am sad that I did not reconnect with him before...
