Not sure what to say?

Dave was the consumate gentlemen. Always positive and incredibly bright...May he rest in peace. Duncan and Becky McInnes

What a joy it was to help Mr. and Mrs. West plan their many trips all over the world. I will always remember his kind spirit and love of travel.

Dave was a true gentleman and a great mentor to me. I started at Blackwell Sanders in 1984. Dave was kind to take an interest in me. One form of that was his diligence in correcting my grammar and written expression in the many memoranda, letters and other documents that I drafted for Dave. I became determined to get one by him without any edits and just when I was about to give up, he approved a document I wrote without any edits. I threw a party that night! Dave was a kind and caring...

Although I didn't get to see my wonderful cousin Dave very often, I enjoyed our recent telephone calls and our talks about bridge, an interest we both shared. I wish I had gotten a chance to partner with him; I think it would have been excellent fun!!

Very few people reach the level of Dave West. A true gentleman. Extremely gifted. Great sense of humor. Kind to everyone. Outstanding in everything in which he chose to participate. Many years of volunteer work in addition to the demanding time required by the high level he reached in his law profession. Devoted family man. Truly blessed to have a wonderful wife, Peggy. In retirement they loved traveling the world with all its wonders. He is missed by everyone who knew him.

Dave was one of my Dad's closest and loyal friend. They carpooled to work for many years. Dave was a very kind man. I remember many times he would insist on giving my brother and I a ride to school when the weather was cold. I have fond memories of climbing into the back of his little VW bug. Both my father and mother thought the world of Dave and his family.

Dear West Family, I knew Dave from his association and friendship with the LaRue's. Bill and Dave's carpool gave me many opportunities to wave and say hello, and of course Elaine and Bill were ever so fond of him. Different times they were back then! May you all by blessed with his memories and love! Dan French 59th Street Kid
