Byles-Groton Memorial Home - Groton Obituary

White, David Bruce, 68,of Groton died unexpectedly Wednesday April 10, 2019 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in New London. He was born on July 10, 1950 in Brunswick, Maine. He married Mary Davis White on Sept 30, 1978, she survives him. He was honorably discharged by the US Army and work as a tire mechanic in the trucking industry.


Besides his wife Mary, he is survived by two brothers Lenny White and Ronnie White.  He was preceded in death by two brothers Lawrence C. White Jr. and Richard White, and sister Lorraine Elwell.


A graveside service with military honors will be held  at the Colonel Ledyard Cemetery in Groton.

My Dear Mary, I just heard of Dave's passing. He was such a unique and wonderful man. You and Dave coming to my shows always made me fill extra good. He was also a dedicated hard working tire tech, arguably the best I ever saw, no tire was to big or to small, he was just flat out a great guy. He will rest in peace, he lived right.
