Not sure what to say?

Rest well my friend!

Sending prayers for comfort to family and friends. David was a friend and co-worker and will truly be missed by many.

I knew David from working at the repair shop where I met a real trusted friend (also to many). His smiles and genuine strength of character are good memories to myself and anyone who met him.

Our deepest condolences to your family and friends. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. Butch and Gloria Nitz

I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with David for 42 years and considered him a close friend. I had the honor and privilege of being in y’all’s wedding. I will surely miss my friend and will always remember him as “ Rookie “

To The Whitfield Family...

So very sorry for your loss. May God comfort each of you as only He can in the days ahead.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

David (Rookie) & I were long time friends while working @ Ga. Power Co. & after we retired. We both shared a love for NASCAR & Ga. Bulldog football. Over a 41 yr. period we shared a strong friendship that made coming to work much easier. We had our up's & downs, but I loved him like a brother! I will miss him terribly, but I cherish the fact that he is pain free & in Heaven with our savior, Jesus Christ! RIP David!
