I had the honor and privilege to visit Dr. Whiting in 2010 for histopathology training. I will always remember David Whiting as a wonderful teacher, and I am very grateful for the time I could spend with him.

I loved Dr. Whiting!! Just miss him as the anniversary of his death comes again. I miss his wit, humor and smile and stories about when he played Santa in South Africa and stories about his beloved dogs. He was so willing to teach and show me things so I would have a better understanding of dermatology and hair. I was privileged to work for him for about 20 years. I will never get to work for someone like that again and will miss him until I can see him again one day in Heaven.

May the family be comforted by Jesus' promise of seeing your dear loved one again. John 6:40.

Mrs. Whiting, I am very sorry for your loss. David provided many many years of help for both of my elderly parents in Dallas. He was so friendly and thoughtful for everything that he did.

I always enjoyed our political and WWII discussions and will miss him as a great Dr and friend.

God Bless you and your Family,

Joe Moss, Lake Jackson, TX

Mrs. Whiting, I am saddened to hear of Dr. Whiting's death.
My sincere condoledgence to you and your family. I was a patient of his for a number of years. I found out at my current appointment reminder. I so appreciated the brief times we had as a paient. I had a respect for him from the first visit I had at his office. He was so very gracious & kind. I always felt I was in very caring and knowlegable hands. I will miss the visits and his wit and humer in the future.

Dear Harriet, we are so sad for you.

David was huge, in dermatology, wit, kindness, stature and life, in general. We have missed both of you in recent years, but our memories of David will always remain vivid as well as the fun times we enjoyed with you both.

Our deep and heartfelt condolences. Sending love. ❤
