Not sure what to say?

Jude Louis Wickham
I remember my Uncle Armond as a quiet, laid back person and he was very interested in talking with me about aircraft mechanics, his lathe machine and racing engines
He was a hard worker and dedicated to the family hardware store, loved his family, his parents, two brothers Raymond and Normand
I wished that I could have gotten to know him better later on in his life, as he was a talented man
Our condolences and may God rest his soul until we meet again...

Armond was an icon of Brewerton. I first met Armond and his father when I worked for the Midstate Telephone Co. in 1960. He had a quiet manner, however, he knew the hardware business. Most of my tool complement today was purchased in that crowded little store many years ago,(he, of course, knew where everything was). Having both been in the AAF we had much to talk about, and he loved to talk! Armond represents the passing of an era for the Brewerton area and my thoughts and prayers go out to...

Armond was over to see me a few weeks before his passing. We sit and visited for quite while. I am thankful he came over. What a great pleasure it was to sit and talk with such a fine man. He will be missed by so many.

Mrs. Wickham, I,m so sorry to hear of your loss. Nothing seems right after the loss of someone we shared so many years with.Even after the 3 years that Don (Le Beau) has been gone, I find myself setting a plate for him or picking his favorite flowers. These guys certainly made a huge impact on our lives.I know how much Armond will be missed, he made a favorable memory on so many lives. Again my heartfelt sympathies. Lisa Patzke, Mianda and David Johnson and sons

Dear Lucy,
I am so sorry to learn of your loss. My fondest memories of Armond are from Brewerton Hardware and from the Brewerton United Methodist Church, as well as more recently from our monthly Happy Days Club. May the deep faith that both of you shared comfort you in this time of loss.

We send our Sincere Sympathy. From
your good friends at ESTMIM.

With fond memories of the times spent camping together at the airshows, touring through the PBY and other WWII aircraft. He and pops are together again.

Some of my earliest and best memories revolve around Mr. Wickham, from always being welcomed at the Hardware Store (sometimes with a broom to sweep) to his faith in God at the Methodist Church. He will be missed by all, but we know that he rests eternally in a far greater mansion.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help at this time.
