Not sure what to say?

my longtime friend- as smart and witty as David was, his kindness and compassion for those lucky enough to know him was unsurpassed- in all of the years I was blessed to be his friend, I was most impressed by his love of his family and pride in his wife and children- I never met Chris, Sara, or Scott, yet I know them! for all of David's enormous wit and intelligence, the thing I will miss most is his incredible soul- I will ALWAYS remember David for his loyalty, his decency, his kindness, and...

I was saddened to here of Dave's passing. I went to Dexfield high school with Dave. He had a great sense of humor and was well liked by everyone. He was respected by the teachers and his peers because he was truly interested in learning. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Widener family -
My mother and I were so sorry to hear of your loss. We are thinking of you during this difficult time. Reading the obituary, I smiled remembering Dave's quick wit and funny comments during Sara and my friendship. May you look back at those happy memories fondly.

Chris,Sara,
And Scott,
I wish I could think of the right words to say. Your husband
and father has always been there for me and my family.. His sence of humor
is the way I will always think of when I remember him. I realize he was extreamly
smart, but would make me think I fit in.I am truley thankful I could
call him a friend.

Dave came down to the bank where I worked nearly everyday, always talking about his wonderful family and wife Chris. He will be missed greatly by many many people.

I was so saddened when Jim called on Saturday. David and Steve were always together in high school. David was like another brother. He and I used to pass notes in between classes at Dexfield. His so much more clever than mine. He always made everyone laugh. I guess that the two of them are together again. I hope that God is prepared for the shenigans that will surely go on.
