Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to Dave's family. I did not know him well but my husband did. Rest in peace!

Dave was a special person to so many in his community of Raeford and in particular to his church family. He taught us how to keep the faith through adversity and to always keep smiling. He was the most optimistic person I have ever met. I always joked with him that I was going to be just like him when I grew up (we were the same age).

I will miss his beautiful smile and sunny disposition. We will always be comforted in knowing that we will see him again since the Angels, no doubt,...

In Christian concern and loving care, you were uplifted in prayer by The Mens Prayer Fellowship of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church.

Dave was such a special family friend and a generous and loving fellow parishioner. He will be greatly missed by everyone he met on his journey in life. He was a tremendous inspiration to me personally. He is certainly enjoying the fruits of his labor with our heavenly Father. My condolences to Dave's family. God bless you all for raising such a fine man!

My prayers and thoughts are with all of you as you lay Dave to rest. Dave was a special friend of St. Elizabeth of Hungary parish and a great support to me during my years there. He will be missed but we all know that God has welcomed him with great joy to be with him forever.
Prayerfully,
Sister Jeanne
