Danbury, NH-David Neil Wilcox, 65, passed away March 12, 2011 in his home after a long illness.
He was born May 29, 1945 in Quincy, MA to F. Roland and Sarah Mae (MacKinnon) Wilcox. He graduated from East Bridgewater, MA High School in 1963 and attended UMass at Stockbridge.


Dave worked for T.L. Edward for many years. He and his wife, Linda, owned and operated Wilcox Tree Farm in Bridgewater, MA. He moved to NH in 1995 and worked as a truck driver in the logging industry and still continued to farm in Andover, NH.

Dave was a foster parent for many years and adopted four children. Active in 4-H, especially dairy cows, until he was 18, Dave talked often about his days in this group and how this was the happiest time of his life.

Members of his family surviving include his wife of 43 years, Linda (King) Wilcox of Danbury, NH; children, Daniel Wilcox and wife, Audrey McKinney of Bristol, NH, Matthew and his wife, Julie Wilcox of Allenstown, NH, Meghan Wilcox and Brendan Kay of Sunapee, NH and Toni Wilcox of Whitinsville, MA; 10 grandchildren, Todd, Ariel, Matty, Rachael, Dylan, A.J., Michael, Taylor, Shawn and Emily; his sister, Alice Norway of Middleboro, MA; many nieces and nephews and his best friend, Corky.

Friends may call at the Chadwick Funeral Home, 235 Main Street, New London, NH on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M.
