Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs/Mr Wilk and Michelle, (Cissy and children as well - although I have not met you),
My sincerest condolences to all of you on the loss of David. I remember David as a very good, nice young boy growing up. Through the years, Michelle has kept me up to date on David and he has truly made his family proud as well as his country. I know you all miss him and will always miss him. Be certain he has left his footprints in this world. Be certain he is watching over and protecting all...

Mr. and Mrs. Wilk, Michelle, Cissy and their 4-legged children - our prayers go out to you and the world for the loss of a great man, a wonderful leader, and a friend to all that had the opportunity to meet him. Dave and Cissy are some of our oldest friends and I can only hope that these entries comfort you all to know how he touched the lives of many around the world. Heaven is lucky to have him as we all were.

I was so sorry to hear about Dave. I,m a former friend of his when stationed at Fort Devens. You may not remember me but I am Mitchell(louie)Armstrong's former girlfriend, Karolyn. Again I can not express in words my sympathy in words all my synpathy to you and your family.

Cissy, I am so sorry about Dave, he was a friend, a comrade, a teammate and a leader. And very sorry that I could not make it to the funeral. My thoughts and my heart are there with you. I'm so glad now that I got to see you both at the 50th SF Anniversary Ball.

De Oppresso Liber,

-Mitch, AKA Louie

I'm so sorry for your lose. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

God bless you

Mrs. Wilk and Family, I served with Dave at the Jungle Operations Training Center in Fort Sherman, Panama. He was my neighbor and friend. My deepest condolences to you and your family. SFC (Ret.) Chris Waltz, US Army (Kathleen, Georgia)

Dear Cousins, I wish we could all wake up and find this never happened. It is so unfair that this disease took our beloved David so young. I was proud that he was family and how he served our country rising up through the ranks so quickly. David was always so talented with a creativity and passion for everything he undertook. We'll all miss him but now have another angel to watch over us.

No words could ever express the deep loss of losing David. He is a credit
to his family, his friends and his country. Our love will follow him as it has from his birth.

Mr and Mrs Wilk and Michelle,

My deepest condolences to you all at the sad passing of David. It has been a lot of years but I remember him as a good, fun-loving kid. May God bless him and bring comfort to you during this difficult time. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Rest in peace, Dave and thanks for your service to our country.

Sincerely ... Bill Jann
