David C. Wilkes

I knew David, his parents and all of his siblings (pre-nieces and nephews) a lifetime ago. From all of the loving tributes to him here, I can tell that he grew up to be exactly the same as he was as a boy - fun, funny, friendly, always ready with a smile and a helping hand, always just a little mischievous and a big heart full of love. David, you obviously had a life well-lived and that is a wonderful legacy to leave the world. May your memory be for a blessing.

I've grown up around this family and they are all the greatest. I went to school with everyone. Our hearts go out to the family and we are here if you need anything. We love you all.

Uncle David was kind, hilarious, and absolutely overflowing with love. He never seemed to be in a bad mood, and everywhere you went with him, he either already had a friend or would make a new one by the time you left. I will never forget him helping me over a puddle on my wedding day to keep my dress clean. He loved and was loved so much by so many.
