Not sure what to say?

He was a great man and compassionate to others who were down on their luck. I met Dave back in 1975 or so, while I was working at pleasant View Body shop. Me and Dave hit it off right away. I was a young man just learning Auto repair and he showed me some things that stuck with me till this day that made me a better person. I had long hair and ripped jeans, but he saw the person within and not judging my appearance. That alone made me respect and look up to him. We had a long friendship while...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

DeVon (and Family), I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing. The obituary /tribute is very touching and captured a beautiful life lived. His legacy and the values he stood for continues in you and your family. I am grateful for what he has contributed to this world. Sending you love!

One of the finest people in Cecil County. I did some work on some of his rental units many years ago. Truly a great and kind man.

Dave was a great friend of my father. Whenever he needed a umpire for baseball he would call and say Gil I need you to umpire dad was right there. Dave took my father to his first Phillies game. Dave was always there if you needed anything. A great friend to my dad after my mom passed away. Dave and my dad talked for hours about baseball. Elkton and the Williams family lost a great man Dave you will be forgotten Always in our hearts

Mr. Williams was a great man who was good friends with my father, Percy Garnett. He always had good advice and would always listen whenever you needed an ear. We will miss his quiet and stern ways. He was a blessing and mentor to my Dad and he will miss him dearly. Our prayers for all the Williams family is that God will comfort you, cover you, and wrap his loving arms around each of you during this great loss. Your father and grandfather was a man of excellence and was a kind man, we will...

Met with this Gentleman a hand full of times and spoke with him on the phone may be twice. Every time he made me feel like a good friend !! A True Gentleman !!!

I first knew Dave Williams when my uncle, George Leukel, came to Elkton to be minister at Elkton Presbyterian. What stood out the most in my young mind at the time was every couple years Uncle George would be driving a really cool new car! Dave Williams was responsible for making this happen. He was a mainstay at the church. I later came to know Mr. Williams through the eyes of his family. I never saw him miss a sporting event in which his grandsons were playing. And then there was his...
