Dave and I grew up in the same neighborhood where we all got together and played baseball. We went through grade school and high school together. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dave was alway nice to me. I grew up with his sons and played baseball. I saw him at Marsh Field in Muskegon this past summer a day before the Legend's game and he said, "I wish I was out there playing again." He can do that now with the rest of the Baseball legends.
