David was born on September 15, 1930 and passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015. David was a resident of Santa Barbara, California at the time of his passing. He is survived by his wife Helene. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, August 29, at 10:00 am at First Presbyterian Church (State and Constance). In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the the David and Helene Winter Headmaster's Fund at Providence, SBCS.
Dave's Dad and brother Paul were Sunday School teachers of mine, and Dave was a good friend. We had great fun heckling him at parties about his trumpet playing. We all grew up together at Lake Avenue in Pasadena. Gordy Iler, Roseburg, OR.
