Not sure what to say?

So very sorry to hear the world is now a poorer place without David, our next door neighbor from childhood and on. He was so very kind to my parents when we "kids' were away, thank you David.
Condolences to you Julie and Maggie,

Kathleen (Sonn) Bylsma

Dave was a friend, a neighbor and an inspiration. As sole-male in our neighborhood playgroup (amongst a sea of squealing girls and gabby moms), Dave was always the parent we all strived to be: patient, kind, understanding, talented and hilarious! I can't remember a time he ever said when asked to do something - whether hosting a dinner for 20 in the house (with his famous rib roast), or accompanying the gaggle of girls around the region on playgroup activities.
From household fix-it...

Will and Family,
Arlene and I send our thoughts and prayers to you. We will keep Dave in our prayers.
Steve McDuffee

David did so much for the City of Burien. He was also quite involved with Seahurst Elementary School where my son Justin attended with Maggie. Justin remembers David volunteering in class and teaching computer to students. Prayers to all of the family...

Rich and I send our condolences and warm thoughts and care to you all at this great loss of Dave.

Dave was like a 3rd big brother to me and he figured large in many of my pivitol childhood memories: my first snow skiing trip with Dave and Joe about age 10, my first time on one ski behind a boat found on the beach after a storm about age 11, my first time in a real sail boat, first time being chased by someone whose car (a convertible) got soaked with the antique fire hydrant Dave came up with...Dave and Rags were always there. His lifelong friendship with brother Joe was an inspiration...

Uncle Dave - we are so grateful for all of the memories , the holidays , Port Angeles , your sense of humor , your skills at wood working and carpentry - your love of family and tradition. You will be missed so much - we love you - Vince, Tiffany , Dax and Rowen

My loyal friend for 63 years... I will miss his deeply.. Joe Baisch

Our loving thoughts are with Julie, Maggie, Will and all family, friends and neighbors of this truly delightful man. As a boy he sparkled and as a man he lit a sparkle in the eyes of every child and elderly person who came his way. All memories of David are precious
