Not sure what to say?

David will forever hold a deeply special place in my heart. He is a dear friend, a mentor, father figure, and tremendous example. I cannot adequately express the deep hole that I feel in my life with his physical presence gone, but I trust that he is still shaping and assisting me in my mortal experience. God be with you and yours till we meet again.

One of the finest, dedicated and loving PW Connect Missionaries there is! Love him and his sweet wife. Just learned of his passing. Until we meet again dear friend! Heavenly Hugs! Lori

With great gratitude and love I think of David B. Wirthlin as my mission president in the Germany Frankfurt Mission from 1990 - 1992. What wonderful moments with him and his wife come to my mind. A true disciple of Jesus Christ. I am very grateful to have known him and still hear his good German pronunciation with his popular slogan: " Es ist wunderbar." Greetings from Germany Oliver Dobin

I knew Dave during our years together at Intermountain Health Care and later as missionaries in Nauvoo. He was a caring person and a kind gentleman. I appreciated and valued my friendship with him. With love, joan clissold

Dave was a wonderful friend and home teacher to my parents, Dean and Kelly Williams. The often spoke of their live and admiration for him and he was present in their home often. Please accept our love, appreciation and sympathy as children of Dean and Kelly. A life well lived. Holly Williams Schelin

Dear Ann We are saddened to learn of the passing of your sweetheart. How grateful we are to have shared so many memories with you as we have served together in the Salt Lake Temple, of visiting you in our beloved Nauvoo while you served in the temple there, and to going all the way back to being friends in high school. Thoughts of you and Dave bring a warm glow in my heart. Please know that you are dearly loved, and so very much admired. May you feel the sweet peace of our Savior at this...

My last conversation with David was about how great the new Wilson Pro Staff (Roger Federer Signature) tennis racket is... and now he has joined our father, Rick Warner, on the "Courts on High." Thanks for the memories and much love to the WIRTHLINS. Richard Warner, Jr

Wirthlin family, I learned of Presidents passing yesterday. He was my first home teaching companion in 1986 when I was baptized. What an example and he always recognized my in my professional development. I think we all hope to live life the way your father lived. Jim and Christie Divver

I regret not being able to attend the funeral services for this great man. President Wirthlin always greeted me with a kind smile, reflective of his discipleship. What a wonderful family you have! Liz and I send our love.
