David Stewart Wise passed away Saturday, September 4, at age 93. He was beloved husband
to Jeanne (nee Lobaugh) for 72 years. Born June 18, 1928, in Cleveland to the late Elias Paul
and Helen Stewart Wise, he was cherished brother to Mary E. “Mimi” Wise, Gloria Bylund
(Linton, deceased) and Barbara Pavlovic (Arthur). Proud father to Mark (Linda), Scott and David
(Mary Jeanne). Loving grandfather to Heather (Mike), Carrie (Jonathan), Bradley, Nicole, Brian,
Lauren and Erin and great-grandfather to Skylar and Riley Wilhoite.
David graduated from Maple Heights High School in 1946 and the University of Michigan in

A lover of music and a trumpeter, David and his band the Wise Owls played concerts and

David enjoyed watching Cleveland baseball games, reading crime novels, vacationing in Florida
and sharing jokes with family and friends.
His family will remember his kind and generous nature, happy-go-lucky spirit and terrific sense of humor.

Mr Wise was one of those men that you never forget. His mind was always working, creating the next part of his current project. He was very close with my father David BURVAL, both in work and friendship. I think of him often and always with a smile on my face. Rest In Peace Mr Wise!
