Not sure what to say?

I had the great pleasure of meeting Dave when I came to do my graduate internship in the Northview High School Counseling Office with Deana Novakoski 25 years ago. Dave was very kind and welcoming when I was hired into Northview 15 years ago. He became more than just a colleague. He was my friend. He was committed to every single child and family he worked with. He served on our WMCA board for over 20 years as the longest serving member (he was our treasurer). I loved Dave and will miss him...

Unfortunately I did not hear of David's passing until too late. I had the pleasure of working with him at Wrigley Field and truly admired his heartfelt dedication to the world's best sports fans. It was always a delight to see him in the park, he will be missed. The world has lost a bright shining light much too soon.

I'm one of the many fortunate Northview grads who knew Mr. Witucki as my counselor. He was very patient and kind, and he had a talent for making every student feel their goals and interests mattered. I'll always be grateful for the guidance and help he provided throughout high school and in the process of applying to colleges. He will be missed but fondly remembered.

He was a great counselor and a great neighbor.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Great guidance counselor and basketball coach! Thank you for everything you did for me, and the Northview community! Thoughts and prayers to all the Witucki family!!!

Mr. Witucki was willing to work with this awkward high school freshman to make sure she got to take all the music classes she could get her hands on. He found ways to sneak classes into my schedule and worked with me to help me test out of others during the summer months. He worked so hard for his students. NVPS has lost a bright soul and a huge student advocate.

Dave was our daughter's biggest champion when she was in high school at Northview and he became her great colleague and friend when she became a teacher at Northview. We are grateful for the kind influence he had in her life. Our sincere condolences to his family and the Northview community.

Mr. Witucki was academic counselor to all three of my teenagers. He was kind hearted in all his interactions. We spent time in his office this past Monday (3/11) and had such a nice visit with him. He lit up when he talked about his family in Phoenix. Thank you, Mr. Witucki.
