To the Wolnik Family --

The entire Wolnik family, Jack, Dave and Ken were great favorites among the Standard Oil (SOHIO) family at the Warrensville Lab in Cleveland, Ohio. Each one with special talents, but each one a truly nice human being. Dave was talented and friendly. A good worker and warm friend. We send our deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Jenny (Grasselli) and Glenn Brown

I have many memories of Dave from hours spent at the Wolnik house during high school. My deepest sympathy to Karen, Amy, Brian and Andrea. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Our sincere sympathy to Dave's family. Just remember he is in a better place now. We will pray for him. Dave played many jobs with us in the 1970's. He also did a tv show & a recording with us.

Dave you were a wonderful cousin and I miss you so much already!Take care of Uncle Jack and Aunt Esther and also my granparents and parents and keep playing those great polkas!I love you!Karen and family I love you all very much and if you need anything please let me know!Love always Lisa xx oo

My deepest and most sincerely condolences. Dave and I worked together at the Sohio Warrensville Lab for Frank Veatch and Dan Feldman in the early 70's. Dave was one of the most positive and upbeat (figuratively and literally) people I have ever known. I never saw him having a bad day. I enjoyed working with him and also playing softball or pinochle at lunch in Doc Whittaker's office. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Your sister, Rosie, and I will miss you so much Dave it is hard to express in words. Your dad, Jack, already showed us how much he missed you the other day. He could not wait to see you again and came to be with you the day you were buried. Take good care of your mom and dad Dave, save us a place close to the band, we'll see you again. Al

Our Deepest sympathy goes out all the family and friends of Dave he will be missed both as a friend and a musician. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

In the "good old days" our close-knit family at Sohio R&D included three Wolniks. In their respective lab careers, Jack and his sons Dave and Ken embraced many disciplines, talents and interests. Thirty years ago, Glenn Laverty and I participated in one of the "interests" of the Wolnik brothers--breaking up the ice on "Lake Sohio" and feeding our half-dozen or so resident ducks (and a visiting coot) every day. I'll never forget the frosty weekend we spent skimming scum from a polymer spill so...
