My daughter was in Mr. Wood´s AP English class in 1985-86. She adored him, though she was equally scared of him. He remains in her memory as the best teacher she ever had. I hope that "the man with a scar for a heart" rests in peace, having fulfilled his mission to teach critical thinking as well as spelling and literature.

what a great man he was. I was very shy and he was just not going to have it! He was an incredible guy. God bless his family.
