Not sure what to say?

I was shocked to hear of Dave's passing. I had seen him and 3 of his sisters the year before at the Purdue agricultural fair here in his home town. He was my parents news paper boy when he was about 10. When our families moved to BC we continued to visit them in the mansion on grand boulevard. As an only child myself I found the family huge and busy. When I was 16 I visited for 2 weeks in Blind Bay. What a gorgeous place. Condolences and prayers toall of your family. Pat (Patsy)...

All though I had not seen Dave in some years..I have nothing but fond memories of him and his family. We use to ski with Dave and Susan when we were young kids and had the best time. Dave you were such a great man , you always made every one feel so welcome, you always made sure that no-one was left out, and your sense of humour simply fantastic. RIP Dave , you will be missed by many people. Donna and Susan my deepest condolences on your loss of an amazing husband,Dad Grandpa and friend.

Dave was a great guy to be around: Intelligent, considerate and fun. He acted with a sense of fairness and integrity. Dave always spoke proudly of his family and enjoyed spending time with them. As well as having a distinguished career in law, he knew the importance of giving back to the community as was evident by the support he offered to Boards he was involved with. As a regular at Canada Games Pool, he gave me inspiration to go to gym at the ungodly hour of 6:00 am. I would see him...

I cared for Dave Worthington in the bar at 8RINKS after Thursday night hockey for many years. He advised me on legal matters in a casual way, and he ALWAYS tipped. I'm sad he is gone. He was a gentleman.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Dave when we served together on the Massey Theatre Board. He was a fine lawyer and in every respect a man who embodied that old-fashioned term, a gentleman. I will miss him.
