To all that knew Charles, he was a great man with the best sense of humour,. He and I became friends perhaps 20 years ago and have remained since.

Charles... where do I begin? I too met Charles on IOS in June of 1987. Geri and I were backpacking through Europe after University. It was summer solstice and we were about to continue our journey to Santorini. Charles told us that it was his birthday so we wouldn't leave. Of course that was a fib and for years after Charles had immigrated to Canada I believed that June 21st was his birthday. We stayed another night spending the day at the beach and spent that night with all the other...

Charles - you will always be on our minds + in our hearts forever.

Looking through a ton of pictures from our travels - oh my word, you never stopped having fun. I bet you are golfing or parasailing or enjoying something adventurous on your next chapter.

And when not playing or enjoying family life, you were always looking after everyone making sure that big thing in their basement was working the way it should.

Charles ... forever missed, watching over...

Charles embraced living like no one else I know. I will never forget the day I met him he was larger than life. I can't think of any other way to describe it. He was everything I wished I could be unafraid to say exactly what he was thinking living his life without worrying what anyone else was saying about him extremely witty and sarcastic which I loved he always made me laugh.
