WRIGHT, DAVID Here's to David Wright, our beloved friend and co-worker. You were a great lawyer, a loyal Marine and a dedicated investigator. But more importantly, you had an unlimited amount of compassion and always found a way to help those who needed it. We'll miss your friendship, warmth and...

Not sure what to say?

I miss you David. I miss our conversations and all of the laughing. We did not have a chance, you left too soon...but I think about you with fondness.

In this big universe who knows what holds true.

If it is as I suspect, you and I have talked since you passed away.
Thank you for your thoughts and feelings. It was so good to see you again in your much younger self and how happy you looked.

Sorry I cried in that dream. I know.... No big deal. Just miss you a lot and still wish you were here for the family reunions.

Thanks for visiting my dreams and letting me know you are OK.

"Uncle" Dave -
I miss your humour and wisdom, and your laugh will live on in my heart forever. You have enriched my life more than you could ever imagine. Thank you, my beloved friend and champion.

David's generous heart, quick wit, and great spirit live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched. Farewell to the prince among us.

David, you were fun to talk to. I only had a few hours with you at our Murphy family reunion in 2002, but I could see your kind nature and and the twinkle in your eyes when you told a funny story. You had that in common with your Uncle Elmer, my father. Dear Cousin, I wish we could have known each other longer.

On behalf of Dave's family I want to thank all of you who have added to this guest book. It is so good to know that Dave had such a positive impact on so many lives. I have learned of new friends and found the names of people he was friends with for years. I especially want to thank his friends at BOLI who initiated this guest book and also thank my daughter Chris who has set this guest book up to be maintained indefinitely. On anniversaries, birthdays, etc., we can return to read your kind...

Uncle Dave,
It pains me so much to know that you are gone. You were a true blessing to everyone who knew you. I hope that whereever you are, you realize how much you were loved, and how many lives you touched.
I am so sorry that I could not attend your funeral, and I will always regret that I could not be there for my family.
I think of you every day and truly believe I am a better person to have had you in my life.
You will be greatly missed forever!
I look...

Thirty-two years ago, when I was just starting as a court clerk, David came by to introduce himself and then me to some of the other clerks we worked with: Andy, Doug, Tom, and Chris. We had good fun together and I have remained in touch with Chris and Dave throughout all these years. Ever the jokester, Dave brought Kentucky Fried Chicken to a cooking class I was giving for the press and naturally was mentioned in the review; he dressed as a chef to go with my two fried eggs costume for a...

Uncle Dave,

You were my first Uncle, I was your first nephew.

You were like a father and a best friend. Thank you for all the help and the thoughtful things you have done for me over the years.

You deserved so much more out of life. You were truly an angel that walked among us. Everyone that knew you was blessed and uplifted by your presence. You are so sorely missed.

You must be making all the other angels laugh with your great...
