I had the privilege of being in your home with the woman I love and you are truly one of my best friends and you taught me about the woods the animals and how they react to danger when it's coming and also you were always so simple and true how to react in a bad situation. THANK YOU DAVID LOVE YOU

Grandpa Yates, as I knew him, was/is a kind, compassionate, calm man that set a positive example for all to follow. He had great adventures in life that most can only dream of possibly ever achieving. I honestly never heard him raise his voice in anger to anyone, nor did I ever hear him put anyone down.
