Not sure what to say?

A great loss to all!!! What a friend and pasator! Jim Auth from many years.

So sorry hear about David´s death. I know he will be greatly missed. Dick knew him very well and he is now reunited with all his Fairgreen family. Prayers and beautiful memories to those left behind to give many years of peace.

A very fine and kind minister. Reverend Young performed our marriage services back in 1973. My husband and I will be married for 52 years. We fondly remember his service. even though he had broken his leg the day before and was on crutches. Always in our memories, and the deepest sympathy to his family.

It was my privilege to serve under the leadership of Pastor Young as a Christian Educator at Fairgreen Church. I treasure his witness in my life. I especially recall his Bible studies in the library (I still hold one of his handwritten charts he shared with me) and the discussions about the Church held on travels to and from Presbytery meetings. His teachings made an indelible impression on my life. My deep condolences to all the family. Dee Smale

Terry and I share our sympathy with you. I was very blessed to have had Dave in my life in Maumee Valley Presbytery. We were saddened to hear that Dave has died. We have moved to suburban Chicago near our daughter. We pray for God´s peace for you as you grieve. In Christ´s love, Rick Hoff

I had the honor of working with David when hired at BG First Presby. in Sept of 1996 until he retired. He was a wonderful mentor and friend always supportive and willing to listen. I'm not sure he knew what to make of the few jokes I pulled on him, but when I heard his laugh in my office I knew that he "got it". I will cherish the found memories of staff meetings, Christmas lunches at his and Marcia's house, and working for God at the church. Prayers to Marcia and the rest of the family.

A beautiful story of his life and leadership. So glad you have had him for so many years- time for grandchildren to know him well. He has gone to his reward. My sympathy- you will miss him
