Dave and I were on a cruise when my youngest brother passed away. We missed meeting all of you, but were certainly with you all in spirit. David's death was a shock to all of us - but not to God. I was reminded this morning when I tuned into my favorite radio program, Walk In the Word, that Jesus weeps with us and He knows and shares our grief, BUT HE IS the Resurrection and the Life.

I remember David, I remember when he was born. I was 13 years old. I remember when everyone of them was born, my brother, Raymond, and my sister, Patty. David was a pretty baby, blonde hair, and all the beauty of a little boy. He was my mom and dad's last child. I remember it well. Mama came home from the hospital in an ambulance with him.

Our prayers are with Dave and with his family. He was such a wonderful person and a fine gentleman. Always had a kind word for everyone and an engaging smile. He was a blessing to all who knew him and a real pleasure to know. He will be missed. But we are glad we knew him.
