Dear Esther and Lester,
Bob Hegarty and I were both shocked at the news of Dave's death. It has been a couple of years since we had seen Dave but were so glad to continue to know and talk with Dave post-college days numerous times. I think of Dave with great fondness and respect. Brilliant man and I loved his sens of humor. Always so slick. He displayed a great combination of characteristics that blended seamlessly and oh so well. I worked with David in Mechanicsburg when he helped my company out over a summer in the late 1990s with software development. I haven't seen him since, but he left such an impression on me with his kind heart and sharp mind. I was so sad to see that he passed. My prayers go out to his family. R.I.P. David.

Esther and Lester,
What a shock to hear of David's death! Although we hadn't seen him for many years, you (Esther) did keep us up on his many academic and other pursuits. I can also recall seeing a photo of him when he was volunteering at Paxton Street Home in the early 80's.
