Not sure what to say?

I know I am very late on this condolence - but I was going through my business cards and saw David's. I knew his store went out of business, but had no idea why. I sent him an email to catch up and was totally shocked and saddened to find out he had passed away. I worked in the building next to his furniture store when he first moved in. I loved going over and looking at his treasures and stopping by even after we moved out. David was always so positive and kind. But I am greatly comforted...

David and I worked at the Hershey Pizza Hut I think in the summer of 76. He managed to keep to his principals. We were also in boy scouts together - David served well as senior patrol leader. In the early 70's he was always jovial and encouraging - little would really phase him. He was a rare religious person at that time. He didn't care if other kids mocked him for his stand on Christianity. I was impressed with how strong he was for not having a dad growing up. He didn't have a...

Monica - So sorry for your loss. I surely will miss seeing our loyal, upbeat, smiling couple here at Value City. May his memory be a blessing.

I remember going to see Garth brooks with him in Philadelphia!! He wasn't a fan but he went with me anyways!! I couldn't be at the service today so I wore an angel pin that him and Amanda gave me one year for Christmas. He will be missed even though we haven't seen each other in a long time. Your friend from Channel Home Center Linda

David was my boss at Western Sizzlin on Carlisle Pike when I was in high school back in the mid 1980s. Not only was he a good manager, but he encouraged me as a young person, especially as a youth who desired to live for Christ in every aspect of life. David always gave constructive direction and was a huge supporter of my musical performances at church and in other places. I have always appreciated his influence on my life in those years.

I've known David since 1979 we met at channel home center became very good friends. He would call every time he moved and I would jump. We had a lot of great times together. He was a great person.

OUR PRAYERS GO OUT TO MONICA & FAMILY. DAVID WILL BE MISSED NOT ONLY AS A BUYER AT OUR AUCTION BUT ALSO A GREAT FRIEND! HE WAS ALWAYS SO KIND TO OUR AUCTION STAFF.HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL! I KNOW HOW MUCH HE LOVED HIS FURNITURE BUSINESS IN THE GOOD & BAD TIMES. GOD BLESS

I was a regular customer of David's - he made me feel like family when I would visit his furniture store. Real down-to-earth guy; very friendly and welcoming. My house is furnished with many of his finds; I'm going to miss coming in to his store and talking with him. He was a genuine gentleman. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Deepest condolences to all the Zufall family. David and I grew up as next-door neighbors and attended Woodside Elementary School together in Pittsburgh, until Ms. Helen moved the family to Harrisburg. I have very happy childhood memories of David, I do remember he loved singing. May his memory be eternal. Prayers are with all the family.
