Not sure what to say?

Dear Pam, Jenny, Davis, Wendy and Family:

I am so sorry to hear of you husband and father's passing. I always looked at him as a man who was bigger than life, towering over me yet as gentle a man as there ever was! I'll always look back fondly on the fun parties at your homes and swimming in the beautiful pool that was so much a part of his life. Know that he is in a wonderful place now, no longer in any pain and that you'll all be together one day!

My sincere heartful...

Pam,
I am so sorry for your loss. You and Barr were very special as my massage clients. My prayers are with you and your family and know that he is with God in a very special place. Deepest Sympathy

At the Braeburn pool a very young lifeguard told Barr where he could safely swim. Ever the gentleman, Barr smiled and slipped unobtrusively into the pool and swam away like a giant sea otter. We remember the parties that Pam and Barr gave when we were all young.

Pam, Davis, Jenny and Wendy

I was so sorry to learn of Barr's passing upon returning from the west coast. It is a tragic loss to you and to the entire Boston community. Mimi was at the service and felt it was incredibly inspirational.

We will miss him on the golf course and at Brae Burn.

Nick Bogard

Davis et al - My prayers go out to you on the loss of this fine man. I smile thinking he will be greeted in heaven by my late brother, also a Brown alum ('88).

Pam, Jenny, Davis, and Wendy,
I have a heavy heart as I read this obituary and write to you. My fond memories of Barr and all of you are bright and happy. Its hard to understand the world without Barr in it. His smile, generosity, and love resonate so strongly. I wish you all peace and my deepest condolenses at this time. Most Sincerely, Paula (Byers) Vollers.

Mrs Clayson, Jenny, Davis, Wendy & family,

Thank you all for being great neighbors growing up.

Barr was one in a million. Always kind and supportive. I'll always picture him playing darts in the townhall or chasing a porcupine with a broom around the fire pit.

Our thoughts and prayers to you all.

Dear Pam & Family:
Your friends at Sudbury Design Group are grieving today over the loss of a friend. We are proud to have been a small part in the life of this gracious and gentle man.
Please accept our deepest and sincerest sympathy.

Mike, Irene, Dan & Associates

As a fellow backstroker, Barr and I compared noites over the years. He was always gracious and friendly...a gentleman with true class. I will miss him.
