Not sure what to say?

Mr. Moore was an amazing teacher. Always knew how to make things fun in his class. Had him for both 5th & 6th grade (split classroom) and I am so lucky to have spent 2 years with him. He is the reason I love teaching my kids science. I'll never forget the way he taught. My condolences and prayers to his family.

I had the pleasure of team teaching with Davis at Central Elementary. We had some great times going to court with 90 6th graders and doing the camp experience at the end of each school year. He was always ready to do anything suggested, which made my teaching experience so much easier.

To Jeff, Katie and all of Davis’ family and the multitudes of his friends:
You have my most sincere condolences on our mutual loss of a very special and unique father, grandfather, brother, uncle, step father, co-worker and friend.
Davis and I first met and became life-long friends when he moved across the street from me in the 3rd grade. Over the ensuing 67 years, Davis and have been like brothers to each other. Davis stood up with me at my wedding and I was in attendance at his....

One of the most influential teachers I had. Yuo will be missed

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I had the pleasure of meeting you at Jerry Yarbrough's house. So glad I did. So many get togethers at the house of Mouse. R. I. P. Davis...

To the Family, I am deeply saddened, to hear of the passing of Davis. He was a wonderful man. Always very warm and happy to see his friends and myself. Ever since we met at Hillsdale College, he would bring such joy and laughter to me, when I would see him. He was just a great guy and friend. I will keep Davis and his family in my prayers. May God Bless Davis and his family.

He touched so many lives in a positive way, including ours.
Comfort and love to all his family.
Love Betty and Frank Limban

Mr. Moore will be greatly missed. He was a truly genuine person and will forever be my favorite elementary teacher. I was lucky enough to have him for both 5th and 6th grade. I still remember how he would always allow his classes to spend extra recess time outside, throw us kids the football, and hold everyone accountable. He earned every kids respect because he gave it to us and actually made an effort to listen and understand us. He made learning fun. And every kid wanted him as their...
