Not sure what to say?

I had the honor of working with Captain Loup for several years, in the OB/GYN Clinic at the Nanak Hospital in Bremerton. She was a force, no nonsense, caring, generous, professional. I used to comment that if anyone could be in 2 places at the same time, it was her. I had the great honor of a gift, a cross stitch made by her that I will always treasure. I just learned of her passing as I live in California now. Sincere condolences to her husband Carl.

I was devastated to hear of Davonne´s passing. We lived together in Grand Forks during her first two years of medical school there. Although we fell out of touch with each other over the years I thought of her often. I will remember her for her voracious reading habits, intellect, dedication to medicine and her love of Doonesbury cartoons. My sincere condolences to her family.

Dr Loup delivered both my children (now aged 29 and 31) in St Paul, MN, before she went back into the Navy. I had considerable respect and admiration for her. I remember how she took on the insurance companies when they were restricting the hospital stay for new moms after cesarean. She fought for what was right. I missed her when she left; she had a positive impact on my life. She was one of a kind.

In the beginning of my career here at NHB I worked with Dr. Loup, she took great pride in her job and was always willing to teach with great high standards. She was compassionate, kind and always willing to be there for all. An amazing lady and she will be greatly missed.
