Dawn McCarthy-Hirrel became my cousin many years ago, she was always a kind, soft-spoken person who was sincere in her actions and words. Someone you could always feel comfortable with, someone who was a welcoming spirit. She was there for so many of our family members, especially Popo and Aunt Katie.
