Dear Houghton Family,
Dawn was one of a kind!!! I worked w/her years ago (up in the Bleachers) at Wrigley Field; she was the best... had a GREAT personality (no matter what!) and always wore a smile.
Throughout the years we saw each other in the neighborhood (or at Bravos) and we'd say, "Hi" and "Bye",but when she was diagnosed we started talking on Facebook and it was just like old times... she hadn't changed at all; she was the same sweet and chatty person I knew...

Dear Family of Dawn, My heart is sadden by your loss of Dawn and a dear friend of mine growing up we lived on same block of 45th an Union, I was recently reconnected with my dear friend after all these years and making plans of a visit to Chicago to only find out Dawn won't be there. Has really sadden my heart for all of you ! I never forgot Dawn even though I moved and our reunion will have too wait for another time and in the mean time I will be praying for God's sweet and complete comfort...

Im sorry for your loss she was a great wonderful person, always full of joy. I remember alot of times being with my dear friend kelly houghton outside washing the car or sitting out and she would come over and chit chat, she was a wonderful person,God has another beautiful angel.
