Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Dawn's tragic death this past weekend. I'm still in a state of disbelief and shock. At work, I met Dawn on numerous occasions. She responded to many calls on which I was dispatched around Huntsville. I was always impressed by her professionalism, her wit and her skills as a paramedic. I'm sorry I never told her how much I appreciated her and how much she'll be missed.

I am so deeply sorry to hear of your loss. I only met Dawn on 8/7 when I insured her automobile. I cannot believe that she is gone. She was so excited to be taking a trip. One thing is for sure, in that brief encouter she and I had, I know that she has gone home to be with the Lord and she lives for ever with no more pain and no more sorrow. I am praying for your family, Dawn. I know they are special to you. I pray for your new grandbaby that your life will be represented in hers. GOd...

HEY DAWN IT'S ME VICTORIA! WELL ME AND THE FAMILY REALLY DO MISS YOU! WELL HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY! I GOT TO GET READY FOR WORK AND WHEN I GET MORE TIME I WILL GET BACK ON HERE! I LOVE YOU DAWN! AND THE FAMILY DOES TOO!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I didn't make it before midnight. Well Dawn, it has been a couple of weeks now and we are all still in shock. I miss you so much right now but I know that you are in a better place. Don't worry about Brandi, we are taking very good care of her. First doctors visit is coming up, you would be so proud. Hunter and Garrett miss you very much. They don't quite understand but they do know as do I that you are with my mom. I told you that ya'll would get along (ha ha). At least you...

Dawn, it's been almost 2 weeks since I got a phone call telling me you were gone. And it's still so hard for me to believe you're gone. I even picked up the phone last week going to call you, until I realized what I was doing. You made a statement to me at one time about how hard it was for you to loose Lisa, your best friend. I never realized just how hard that was for you until now. We haven't been able to talk as much as we would've liked over that last few months. And, I wish you...

To the Newberry family.

Jessica --

My heart goes out to you, girl. I know we haven't seen or spoken to each other in 15 years, but I feel for you.

If you'd like to catch up sometime, and find a friendly shoulder to lean on, drop me an email. Losing a parent is rough, I know that, and I know that you'll reach out when you need it.

Be safe,
