Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home - Malvern Obituary

Dawn Marie (Covell) Oliver, age 65 of Malvern, passed away at St Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood Colorado on Saturday, February 6, 2021.  Dawn was born in Canton, Ohio on June 28, 1955, daughter of Paul Manypenny Sr and the late Faythe (Schuster) Manypenny.

Dawn was never at a loss for words and she always had a way of making you feel exactly what she was saying. There was never a question in her intent, for it was always love. She was pure in her exchanges and she would give her opinion without flinching.  If you failed to learn how to treat others, you, my friend, were not watching her!  Bringing joy and happiness to others was her only objective in life.  She showed us the importance of being kind, lending a helping hand, and being strong in your faith.  She was a devout member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Malvern.  Please continue to honor her by loving graciously, living earnestly, and forgiving easily.

Dawn is survived by her husband, Dennis C. Oliver of Malvern; a daughter, Jodi Showers of Dover; a son, Eric (Sarah) Oliver of Four Seasons MO; three grandchildren: Ian Showers, Emily Showers, and Tucker Oliver; four brothers: Mark Covell of Canton, Keith Covell of Tulsa OK, Larry (Barbara) Covell of Annapolis MD, and Paul Manypenny Jr “P.J.” of Canton.

A funeral mass will be held at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 125 Carrollton Street North, Malvern OH on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11 AM with Celebrant Father Vic Cinson.  Calling hours will be held at the church one hour prior to mass.  All of the current face masks, social distancing, and building occupancy rules will be observed according to the Health Department guidelines.

Denny & Family:
We are so very sorry for your loss! We just read about this today and are so very very sorry! We don't do much social media or circulating in society so unless we read stuff we don't know. If you need anything please please let us know.. Again we will pray for you and your family and are here if you need anything!

Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Dawn will be so very missed.

Deepest Sympathy.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I've known Dawn and Denny since our days at Madge Youtz School. Then also at the Hoover Co. where we both worked. Denny, I'm so sorry for the loss of your wife and almost life long friend. I'll be praying for the comfort of Jesus to help you through this difficult time. Thoughts and prayers to the whole family.

My prayers and sympathy are with the family. Dawn always had a quick wit and would keep all of us at Hoover laughing and smiling. I was sad to see her picture and read of her passing, but now she can make God smile. Hopefully all the very good memories and fun times will help you get through this difficult period. Blessings to the family.

Denny, Mark, and family,
Our sympathies to you in this time of loss. Dawn was always a lot of fun.

Denny & Family: So sorry to read about the passing of Dawn! It was a real shock to all of us! Our deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers go with you.

Dawn was an amazing woman who loved everyone. May she rest in peace. We are sending our thoughts and prayers to your entire family.
