Not sure what to say?

I met Dawn during her time in Anchorage Alaska during the 1980's through my good friend Keith. She was such a sweetheart and quite a character! I still wish that I had been able to take time away from my job to act as her ski coach for her first Paralympic event in Innsbruck. A very special and inspirational woman. She loved Life and Life loved her. Condolences to all her family and friends.

Marj and Family,

So sorry to hear of your lose. I remember Dawn as a little girl visiting my grandparents in Browka. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I always enjoyed taking care of Dawn, over the past 25 years when she was at St. Joe's. She was so strong and never would give up. She was such a fighter. She was a neat lady. I always learned alot of life lessons from her and her stories. I always told her she should write a book about her life and all that she went through in life. May she now rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers with the loss of Dawn. God Bless.

Dawn and I were married in Barrow, Alaska November 22, 1980. Barrow was liken to Wild West. It was a transition time for the Eskimo people of the north and it is a subject of study in the universities in Alaska. We were there and part of it.
Dawn loved to cook and entertain. Her pizzas inspired a friend who now owns a pizzeria in Unaakleet, Ak, no doubt borrowing from her recipe. We purchased carpet cleaning equipment as there was plenty of carpet and none in town and set up business....

First, I must thank family, friends and the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital for helping Dawn through the years of illness. Dawn's constitution enabled her and inspired others.

She loved to cook and entertain. Her pizzas inspired a friend who now lives in Unakaleet, Ak. to start a pizzeria, no doubt using her recipe. Our time together was short but action packed. We were married in Barrow on November 22,1980. We purchased carpet cleaning equipment, shipped it there where there was none...

God Speed, Dawn....I think of you so often and wonder where you are since my retirement. Knew you for more than 30 years and enjoyed the good and the bad things of life with you. You were always fun and interesting. Now I know you're in God's Care just like you always were here on earth. Thanks for the memories.

Dawn was more than a patient, she was a friend to me. I will always cherish the memories that we shared together. I will dearly miss my friend. I am so thankful for all the memories that I will have of her. Please know that she felt that 7N was home for her, and we were family for her. As I said, she was my dear fried. I spent many MANY days with her. And I loved her dearly.I will miss my Dawnie. But I know she's wearing Bettie Boop T'shirts listening to Bobbie Magiee dancing and drinking her...
