I have known Dawson and Ruth Hill for alot of years, back when he was my sundsy school teacher at Conference baptist in evergreen. He was a great leader and friend. He taught me how to saddle a horse that he had named Jet. He said anytime you want to ride just come on over. Had the honor of helping him as a counselor in Bailey Colorado in a youth group called Son Summit. Between his conferences and bible studies we were involved with him and his wife, Heaven has a great servant, I'm positive...

I can't believe it's been nearly four years since Dawson went home to be with the Lord. My how time has flown. I first discovered Dawson when I was a freshman in high school. He was a real Godsend as the first years of high school for me, were a bit on the rocky-side. (Bullying) Anyway, I attended many of his conferences over the years and I listened to his radio show regularly. Anyway, my generation was fortunate to have had him. He truly had a heart for teenagers and young adults. His...

By the time I discovered Daws on I was too old to call the radio show as he was only taking calls from younger people l e ,but I loved listening to the show and praying for the youth who cal l Ed in.

I've known Dawson since he was my onetime Sunday school teacher at his dad's church in Evergreen Colorado. I was a part of the youth group he led in Bailey Colorado. I worked for him when I needed to earn money as a teen. He taught me how to saddle a horse of his I loved to ride, Jet was his name. Became part of the youth group there in Bailey, was in an adult Bible study with him and Ruth Hill. What a couple to be blessed by. The girls flocked to Ruth Hill and the guys flocked to him. They...

Dear McAllister family, I just found out about Mr. Dawson's passing, and wanted to let you know of the great impact he had on so many people's lives. I started attending his conferences each year with my youth group, and we saw many saved there. We got to know him a bit over the years, and he always took time for us at the end of a conference day to chat for a few minutes. We were a small youth group from a small church, but he never failed to spend a few moments talking to us and praying...

Dawson's dad Eugene was our pastor at Hanna City Presbyterian Church when I was a child. I enjoyed our friendship, his energy and sense of humor during those years. More recently I was unable to personally contact him, regrettably, as we had much in common. My sympathy to Dianne, Annabelle, and the rest of his loved ones who are left behind. Rest in peace, Dawson.
