So sorry dear cousins to hear of your loss.

I remember your Dad,Dawson, being so supportive of our SOS Handball Tournaments.Thank you for sharing him with us.He was a good man and definitely a member of the SOS Handball Club.May he rest in peace.

Dawson and Susan the name Dawson Wright was a staple in our home for many years. Your dad and my dad both worked for Gallo for 50 years. I was very sorry to hear that one more of our Gallo family has passed. Your dad seems to have been an amazing man. My condolences to you and your family on your loss.

I was saddened to learn that Dawson had passed. I was fortunate to get to know him while working at Stroud Elementary. What an amazing man! He was gifted in so many ways but I will remember him best for his kindness and thoughtfulness with all around him and his LOVE for children. My love to Sue and her family at this difficult time.

I had the esteemed pleasure to work for and with Dawson at Gallo for almost ten years (1971-1979). He was my mentor, teacher, and friend. His patience, genius, and work ethic cannot be minimized.
Dawson was brilliant in his foresight and invention. Although I had to leave Gallo winery in 1987, due to family obligations, I will never forget Dawson as an innovator and pioneer in the winemaking profession.

I feel blessed to have known your beloved father. It was an honor and blessing to have known him. I will truly miss his friendship and hearing of his cherished memories he shared during his many trips to Paris. He was a true treasure.

Susan and Jeff, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I met Dawson at Stroud School when Ben was in the 5th grade & I was helping out in his class. I know he was such a blessing there volunteering at the school. I was happy to see that donations can be sent to the Stroud Library. His obituary was a lovely tribute to his fulfilling life.

Dawson was truly one of a kind and he holds a special place in my heart. He was the first person that I ever worked for at Gallo and I'm still here 17 years later; luckily we were able to keep in touch throughout the years.

Dawson was everything his obituary describes and more. We were close friends with Dawson and Marilyn, and he was one of my favorite people at Gallo. We will miss his postcards from Paris and will miss his presence more than we can say.
