Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry I did not look Dayle up a few years ago. I am now going through all my family material, and old letters, and I found a letter from Dayle. We were both exchange students in Graz, Austria in 1961-62 and we met every Tuesday at a Konditerei for wonderful Austrian pastries and Kaffee mis Schlag (whipped cream). We complained about things that were difficult but we both ended up having great love for Austria and wonderful experiences. She was a lovely person. I still have a sketch...

My family lived next door to the Elsessers in the late 1960's. Dayle and Charles were always kind and patient me as a playmate of one of their sons. My deepest sympathy to the family in their loss.

In the summer of 1957, my family rented a cottage next door to the Donofrios on Candlewood Lake. Our families had some good times together. But I have not been in touch with any of them since that time. Dayle and I were the same age. Less than a week ago I was celebrating a 75th birthday with a friend, discovered she was originally from Danbury and actually was a classmate of Dayle. I was so excited! We found her yearbook picture and contact information from some class reunion material. I was...

I Have learnt of her passing just today and am very saddened by the news, I am a beneficiary of her charity work where she helped me establish a community library in Kenya and for this I will forever be indebted to her, I always called her mum and she called me her daughter, Rest in Perfect Peace dear Mama till we meet again.

I only found out about her passing today and am very sad since I knew her since 1968 when we met in London where we shared some great moments. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family

I'm very sorry for your loss!! Mrs. Elsesser was one of my art teachers through my 4 years at New Milford High School in the early eighties. She was one the best art teachers ever!! She will be forever missed. My sincere condolences.

I am so sorry to learn of Dayle's passing. I have known her almost my whole life. She was a close friend of my late sister, Pat Ruscoe, during their school days. She was there for me when I lost my father at 12..Helped me through the tough times then. I last saw her at Pat's funeral but she kept in touch with Pat's daughter through the years. She was one of a kind.I extend my sympathies to her family. RIP, Dayle.

Much love and prayers to the Elsesser's. She is now with Charles, Grandpa Harry, and Elaine watching over us.

Family for a lifetime - stay strong

Dayle was one of the nicest, unassuming, and loving person I've have met. She touched many people's lives in a very positive manner. Dayle left a meaningful and touching legacy in this world. Thank you for your friendship; God Bless and God Speed Dayle....
