Not sure what to say?

Mr. Molen was the first person who said to me, "why not?" He encouraged me to interview Marcuse, Baez and others for Insight. He took my copy seriously enough to line edit it.He will always be a gift. Class of 1972

Professor Dayle Molen's kind and caring nature and dry sense of humour has always remained in my heart. Generations of CSUF Journalism students benefited from his tutelage. Thanks so much!
My sympathies to his family on their loss.

We were traveling on the East Coast when we received word of Professor Molen's passing. Dayle's warm presence, careful instruction, and thoughtful guidance in and out of the journalism classrooms meant so much to three generations of CSU Fresno students. He was a wonderful preceptor and the lessons he taught almost 40 years ago are still being applied in my daily life. Thank you for sharing this kind and gifted man with all of us.

You will be missed, Dayle.
You were the leader of a great department and I treasure my memories of time spent with you and the likes of Roger and Jim Tucker and the rest.
Thanks.

They don't make many like Dayle, warm, kind, perceptive and a consumately professional journalist. His monument is the respect and love he engendered in his students and associates.

Dayle in Yosemite Oct. 2009 .. We will always cherish the memories of this last visit to an awe inspiring place with an awe inspiring man.

When a great man dies, for years the light he leaves behind him, lies on the paths of men.
