Not sure what to say?

My heart goes out to the family of Dayna. I didn´t know the family, but, lived in Schererville and was heartbroken over the tragedy. I cannot imagine the pain. Know your daughter is prayed for and we must believe God has her close to Him in Eternal Peace. So sorry. Noreen Adams

Mercy Hospital had a Remembrance Service on the one year anniversary. We brought flowers and those flowers helped staff recognize that we were family. Staff came out and talked to us and told us wonderful stories about Dayna. They personally walked us to the service. Dayna, you were very special to them and I saw framed pictures of you in their offices. You will be forever in their hearts and prayers..... as you will be in ours.
Brian and Glory Sarna

Losing someone you love in an instant can feel so unreal, and realistically, nothing will completely erase the pain. But accepting support from family and friends and doing positive things will help you get through the rough times ahead- Ecclesiastes 5:20.

The first blizzard of 2018 will forever stay in my heart. And every first snow after that will forever remind me of Dayna. This year's snow was exceptionally beautiful...clinging to the trees to create a winter wonderland that lasted for days. Dayna, you are more beautiful than that first snow you loved. Your spirit will be in our hearts forever by remembering you for so many reasons.....as we see the first snow falling.

Teena, Michael Berglund just told me of the passing of your beautiful Dayna. I am so, so sorry for you and your family. What an amazing young woman she was. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Sheli Chermak Sullivan

I did not know Dayna but I can see that she was a wonderful person. You have my prayers and condolences.

My prayers to the family of Ms. Dayna.

To the family of Dayna,

I am a pharmacist in Chicago who can't stop thinking about Dayna and what you are going through. All of us in her profession feel a special place in our thoughts for her. I work a few blocks from Mercy and will never forget that day.
How fortunate you all are to have had such an impactful person in your lives. That impact will never go away.

Missy Kuhn, Pharm.D.

I did not know Dayna but I have read her story. As a current pharmacist and former pharmacy resident, I can see the passion she had for pharmacy and for her patients. It is truly an inspiration and there is no doubt the impact that Dayna made during her short time as a pharmacist. The pharmacy community has lost a bright soul. My deepest sympathies to your family, friends, and community -- rest easy Dayna.
