De?juan Dayshawn ?Owie? Antoine, a chef with Sodexo at Tulane University, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 27, 2013 in New Orleans, La. Beloved son of Phyllis Antoine and Rufus Veal, Sr. Loving brother of Brandy, Chandra, Cecilonica, Cecil,and Rufus Antoine, Vanette, Christopher, Tracy and Danita Stewart, Deverick Troy Francois and Tyreek Gross. Companion of Terrie Bodden. Grandson of the late Dorothy Lanaux Antoine, Howard and Iona Veal. Great grandson of the late Lula H. Kelly. Cousin of the late Jalin Davis, Danny Antoine, Johnathon Jefferson and Mark Braxton; also survived by 16 nieces and nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 26 years, native of Gretna, La. and a residence of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and member of Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Sodexo , and Tulane University are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, La. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Gilbert Barnes, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Evening Star Cemetery-Harvey, La.

I miss you so much sweetie ..u took apart of me with you dee ..I'm soo sorry I neva got a chance to tell you ..I love you and will truly miss you ..

it is never easy to say good-bye to a loved one, to you my nephew i'll miss your smile,and it's not easy to look around and not see you there. I often think of the last time that I saw you, smiling,even if I saw see you but for a moment. I love you and miss you very much.

I was so hurt when i got the news but God just plucked up a flower that had it name on it I know you wasnt ready we all was not so my heart goes out to the Antoine family.
