Deacon James Palmer, Jr. of 902 South Joe Wright Drive, Cordele, Georgia, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2025, at his residence in Miami Gardens, Florida.


The funeral service will be on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the J. W. Williams Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia.  The burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.


Everyone entering the funeral home for visitations or services is required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.  A mask must be worn throughout the stay.  You must supply your own mask.

James was a wonderful, loving, friendly person that greeted you where and when ever her saw or met you with a big smile and hug. He will truly be missed but I know the family that have gone on before him is as glad to be with him as we are sorry for losing him. Celebrate your new life cousin we will always love you and your presence.

Sorry for you loss, this is someone I have known forever as far as I could remember in my life time, as a Brother in Law he always was the same even when he remarried he never changed, he was still Junior Palmer. I know you in a better Dea.
