Deacon Schunn D. Ferguson

Schunn Darrayl Ferguson, a beloved husband, father, and faithful servant of God, passed away on April 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Known for his unwavering faith, generous heart, and infectious sense of humor, Schunn lived a life rooted in purpose and compassion. He served faithfully in ministry and was deeply committed to uplifting others through encouragement, wisdom, and a consistent presence. His life’s work reflected his belief in community, family, and the power of love to transform.

Schunn leaves behind a legacy of faith, laughter, and service that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a man who never met a stranger, who made people feel at home with just a few words, and who always found joy in lifting others higher. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Bethesda Baptist Church, located at 2909 N. 20th Street. The Ferguson family asks for continued prayers, support, and reflections in honor of Schunn’s remarkable life.
