My family knew Dea for many years, and when he became superintendent in West Linn-Wilsonville it was a blessing. Dea moved the school district to excellence and built a first class public school system. My two children had a wonderful education, and have been successful in their careers as a result! He will be truly missed. Brian Kleiner

Dea was not only an amazing friend. My service on the West Linn school board was enhanced by knowing Dea not just as a Superintendent but as a friend. he was one of the most kind and honest men I have known.
