I am so sorry for your loss. May your memories, and those others share with you, remind you of the wonderful person Dean was.

Dear Alonzo Family,

I/We just heard of Dean's passing, and are truly heartbroken. Dean was such a great guy, and had the biggest smile. I hadn't seen Dean for quite a while, but saw him earlier this year while he was working for Federal Express. He was so happy and hadn't changed a bit over the years. I remember that he could always put a smile on your face just by talking to him. Truly a wonderful person to know, and a sad loss for everyone who knew him. May the memories that we...

I remember Dean as a very nice guy and one heck of an athlete.
May his family, his partner, his son, and his close friends find peace in this time of grief.

Don and Joan: Just returned from Florida and learned of Dean's passing. I remember him as a boy and a terrific ball player. He played baseball with both my sons at Cross Street. My heart goes out to you. I will remember you both along with Karen and Dean's children in my prayers.

Having grown up in Westfield, I've known Dean for many years. Even though we may not have been very close, we had many mutual friends. For the past few years, I also got to be his co-worker at FedEx. I will always have fond memories of Dean. He had a way of lifting your spirit just by entering a room. He will be sadly missed. Take comfort in the good times shared with him. He touched so many lives, and lives on in the memories of all that knew him. Farewell Dean.

Dear Alonzo Family,
What I remember most about Dean is his jovial laugh and smile and how wonderful he would make others feel. We had such great times growing up together during our summers in Otis and they will always be some of my fondest memories. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Alonzo family ,
Dean was always a bright star at the end of cross street. His smile and lite joke always made us feel welcome in the store. He will be missed and we'll keep you all in our prayers. The Bednaz,Reopel families

Remembering Dean brings back memories of Cross St. playground and little league baseball. Such wonderful days. All the teams respected coach Don and certainly my team respected Dean's ability to hit the ball a long way-often! My sympathies, Don and Family. The Alonzo family always had kind words to say. Thanks.
