Finally Home

Hi Honey
I didnt forget your birthday yesturday, but this way I do not have to write to you twice. Its hard to believe you would of be 62, I am so glad you retired early. At least it gave us more time together and things to do. I remember alot things honey, most all good memories. I loved you so much, and still miss you so bad. By the time I am done writing this, I already know you know that Lucky has joined you, and Barney, and Gunner. I really hated to give him up to you right...

Howdy!
We had to put Gunner down yesterday, but I’m sure you all ready know that.
I told him it was for the best because he would not be suffering any more and that you would be waiting for him.
So if you could find a ball and give it a toss that would be great or if you can find a field where he can flush up some pheasants that will make him happy also.
I will always miss you both, but I know you are in a better place and have each other so it makes it easier to handle.
Love...

Dad,

Remember that time mom and I ran to Mexico for a few hours and left you with Ben? When we came home he had his head down on the table and wouldn't look at you because he was so scared and you didn't know what to do! That was hilarious! I'll always remember that.

I remember a lot of things. Like when you walked me down the rock path on my wedding day and we both couldn't fit over the bridge because my dress was too big! And when you cried because I surprised you and...

Happy Birthday Honey,
you would of been 61 today, but I know that you are feeling so much younger than that right now. Are you having a birthday party with your mom and dad. Is my mom and grannie and gramps and the rest of our families there with you. One thing I am glad for you is that you are there with your mother. She is with you along with your dad. Enjoy this day honey, Lucky keeps walking around the house crying so loud today, maybe he sees you here, they say animals can you...
